Creating an account

Ghost Card accounts live at app.ghostcard.live. Tap Sign Up from any page on the marketing site or the app itself. You'll need three things:

  A display name — This is what appears on scorecards and round history. The ghosts will know you by this name. Choose accordingly.

  An email address — Used for login and password reset. No spam. No newsletters. The ghosts don't have time for that.
• 3
  A password — At least 6 characters. Something you'll remember at 6am in the parking lot when cell service is questionable.

Once created, your account stores your username, display name, round history (up to 50 rounds), bag tag collection, and profile stats. That's it. There's no profile photo uploader or bio field. The app is not LinkedIn.

Signing in

Tap Login from the nav on ghostcard.live or go directly to app.ghostcard.live. Enter your email and password. If you've forgotten your password, see Account & Profile → Password Reset.

Guest mode

You can start a round without an account. Guest mode gives you full access to the scorecard — course search, ghost opponents, live scoring, the works. What you can't do as a guest:

  Save rounds to history — Rounds played as a guest are gone when the session ends. The ghosts remember. You won't.

  Earn or collect bag tags — Bag tags require an account to unlock and store. Tags earned as a guest evaporate at session end.

  Use Tour Mode — Multi-round events require a signed-in account. Seasons need somewhere to live.

  Submit par corrections — Community corrections are tied to accounts. The Bone Collector tag tracks you specifically.

If you start a round as a guest and try to do something that requires an account, the app surfaces a banner prompting you to sign in. You won't lose your round in progress.

Your first round

After signing in, you land on the Home screen. To start a round:

  Pick a course — Search by name, city, or zip code from 7,008 US courses. Tap the course to confirm.

  Build your card — Add yourself, real players (by username), and/or ghost opponents from the pro field. You need at least one player on the card.
• 3
  Choose your format and division — Stroke Play or Best Disc Scramble. MPO or FPO. These affect how ghost scores are calculated.
• 4
  Start — The scorecard opens on Hole 1. Enter scores after each hole. The leaderboard updates live.

When the final hole is scored, a gold ghost appears and the round is marked complete. From there you can save it to history or walk away. The app will not auto-save. The choice is yours and the consequences are yours.
