Adding friends

Go to the Profile tab and search by scorecard name. Friendships are mutual — both players must add each other. Cap is 20 friends. No follower counts, no likes, no algorithms.

Quick-add to your card

During card setup, friends appear as quick-add chips. One tap to add a friend to the card. No typing, no searching. They're already in the field.

FRIEND'S BEST
Cyan row — your friend's best round at this course, tracking hole by hole.

When a friend has a saved round at the same course and layout, their best appears as a cyan row on your leaderboard. You're racing a real score — their actual hole-by-hole best, not a simulation.

The friend ghost is a toggle during card setup. Pick which friend's ghost to race, or turn it off entirely. Only one friend ghost can appear on the leaderboard at a time.

Personal best ghost

YOUR BEST
Gold row — your previous best at this course, tracking hole by hole.

That gold row on the leaderboard is the best version of you. It remembers every birdie. Every ace. Every putt you'll never hit again. It never has a bad day. It never three-putts. It just sits there, being better than you.

Beat your PB and Round Complete celebrates with a full comparison: holes won, holes lost, holes tied, strokes gained. Lose to it and the leaderboard doesn't say anything. It doesn't have to.

The PB ghost is always on. No toggle, no setup step. If you've played the course before, it's there. Your past is haunting you.

Field position trend

Sparkline chart on History — your field position across your last 20 rounds. The chart plots upward when your finish improves. Shows most recent, best-ever, and average TOP % OF FIELD. Requires 2+ positioned rounds.

Share badge

Every completed round generates an exportable summary badge — course, date, score, division, format, field position. Brand treatment: dark background, gold accents, FlatGhost icon. Export to social, messages, wherever.

Invite by text

Tap INVITE BY TEXT on the Who Dares step of a multiplayer card. The app opens your phone's share sheet with a link that does two things at once: if the recipient signs up, they're auto-friended with you, AND they land on the live card as a spectator. No friend request to accept, no "wait, which round?" No friction at the first tee.

Already got friends in the app? Add them to the card with the Quick Add chips or by typing their display name — both paths link them to the card so they get a Realtime notification the moment you hit Start Round.

Scorekeeper

One phone keeps score — that's how disc golf works in real life. On the Who Dares step, pick who scores: defaults to you (the host), tap any player chip to hand it over. The designated phone gets a distinct "YOU'RE THE SCOREKEEPER" notification when the round starts. Everyone else on the card follows live.

Following a live card

Friends you marked on a card — or anyone you invited by text who signed up — see a FOLLOW button on the home screen the moment your round starts. Tapping it opens the live leaderboard with hole-by-hole updates as the scorekeeper enters them. Works on any device, no install needed — just the shared link or the banner on their home screen.

If the scorekeeper's phone loses signal, the spectator view shows the last-known snapshot with an "updated Xs ago" indicator, and flags "host may be offline" after ~45 seconds of silence.
